MY MAKEUP ESSENTIALS

Hoy os traigo mis imprescindibles de maquillaje. Antes de nada es necesario decir que mi piel es normal-clara (ni muy blanca ni muy morena), tengo los ojos verdes, el pelo castaño claro y la forma de mi cara es más bien redonda. Por eso uso tonos beige claro para los maquillajes, tonos rosas y coral para el colorete y sombras fuertes para los ojos (sobretodo negros y lilas, y en ocasiones verdes y azules). 

Today I'm talking about my makeup essentials. First of all it is necessary to say that my skin is normally clear (not too white or too dark), I have green eyes, light brown hair and the shape of my face is rather round. So that, I use light beige tones for makeup, pink and coral shades for blush and strong eye shadows (especially black and purple, sometimes green and blue).

1. Serum, contorno de ojos y crema.

Primero me aplico el nuevo serum de L'Oréal Skin Perfection que deja la piel lisa, sin manchas, sin rojeces o cualquier tipo de imperfecciones. Tiene una textura muy suave y con una simple gota es suficiente para toda la cara. 

A continuación me pongo el contorno de ojos. Dependiendo del día y de cómo tenga la piel de la zona me aplico el contorno de farmacia que es específico para las irritaciones en dicha zona de SVR Topialyse Palpébral, o el contorno reafirmante de Lancaster Suractif Volume Contour.

Para acabar me aplico la crema-tratamiento reenergizante de Herborist que me encanta ya que deja la piel muy hidratada y, sobretodo, aporta un extra de energía. Se trata de una marca asiática que usa productos naturales y muy efectivos que tiene un precio intermedio entre las grandes marcas y las lowcost. 

First I apply the new L'Oreal Skin Perfection serum that leaves skin smooth, no stains, no redness or any blemishes. It has a very smooth texture and a single drop is enough for the whole face.

Then I use the eye contour. Depending on the day and how your the skin area is I apply the outline of pharmacy that is specific to this area irritation  SVR Topialyse Palpébral, or contour firming Suractif Volume Contour from Lancaster.

To finish, I apply the reenergizing treatment cream from Herborist that I love because it leaves the skin very hydrated and, above all, providing added energy. It is an Asian brand that uses natural and very effective products and that is priced in between big brands and low-cost.

2. Base y maquillaje.

Después del tratamiento específico para preparar la piel, aplico la base de Benefit Stay Flawless 15-hour Primer que prepara la piel para el maquillaje y ayuda a que este dure durante más tiempo. 

A continuación aplico el maquillaje. Para mi día a día uso el maquillaje en polvo mineral de Clinique que se mezcla a la perfección con el color de mi piel y deja un efecto natural que da el efecto de no ir maquillada. Por otro lado, los días que salgo por la noche o que acudo a un evento especial uso primero el maquillaje de Make Up For Ever High Definition Foundation y a continuación aplico el polvo mineral de Clinique. 

After the specific treatment to prepare the skin, I apply Benefit base 15-hour Stay Flawless Primer to prepare the skin for makeup and to help it last longer.

Then I apply the makeup. For my daily I use mineral powder makeup from Clinique that blends perfectly with the color of my skin and leaves a natural effect that gives the sense of not going makeup. On the other hand, the days I go out at night or I go to a special event I first use the Make Up For Ever High Definition Foundation makeup and then I apply Clinique mineral powder.

3. Fijadores de sombra y labios y iluminador.

Tras el maquillaje aplico el fijador de sombras de Too Faced Shadow Insurance que fijará por completo las sombras y hará que duren hasta que me desmaquille.

Después aplico el iluminador de Nars Albatross que es uno de mis favoritos. Se trata de un iluminador de color blanco con brillo que al aplicarlo sobre la piel deja un precioso tono dorado que ilumina todo el contorno del ojo. Me lo aplico en la parte superior del pómulo justo bajo el ojo, bajo la ceja en la parte exterior del ojo y en el lagrimal. 

El fijador de pintalabios de Too Faced Lip Insurance lo suelo aplicar tras el pintalabios ya que cuando lo aplicas antes hace que el color se difumine un poco. 

After applying makeup, I use the Too Faced Shadow Insurance to fix to completely fix the shadows and make them last until I remove them.

Then I apply the Albatross Nars Illuminator that is one of my favorites. This illuminator is a bright white that when applied to the skin leaves a beautiful golden hue that illuminates the entire eye area. I apply it on the top of the cheekbone just under the eye, under the brow on the outside of the eye and in the lacrimal.

The lipstick fixer Too Faced Lip Insurance I usually apply it after lipstick because when you apply it before it makes the color fades.

4. Kohl y sombras.

Aunque tengo un montón de sombras y lápices, os he puesto solo algunos que uso últimamente. El kohl de Chanel lo uso para perfilar el ojo discretamente en mi día a día con suaves toquecitos en la parte superior de las pestañas formando una ralla fina y en la parte inferior de las pestañas (por fuera) hasta la mitad del ojo. Si quiero llamar un poco más la atención uso el lápiz de H&M que tiene purpurina y queda precioso. En mi día a día también suelo usar un eyeliner líquido de brocha ancha para alargar la raya y hacerla más gruesa.

Las nuevas sombras de Sephora en color lila son preciosas y dejan un efecto ahumado precioso, sobretodo para ojos verdes. El negro se aplica como un kohl alrededor de las pestañas superiores e inferiores. Después el color lila se usa en el párpado móvil aplicando bastante para que de el toque de color y el color lila oscuro se aplica difuminando desde la parte superior del párpado móvil hacia el párpado fijo. Para acabar el color plateado se aplica en el lagrimal y bajo la ceja en la parte exterior y aporta un toque de brillo increíble. También suelo usar mucho el Black Smoky Eyes de Sephora.

En cuanto a las sombras verde y azul de Sephora las uso sobretodo en verano ya que aportan color al rostro y son muy divertidas. Aplico el tono azul como si fuera un eyeliner en la parte superior de las pestañas de arriba y el verde de la misma manera en la parte inferior de las pestañas de abajo. Se puede hacer lo mismo con el eyeliner en gel verde de Mac.

Although I have a lot of shadows and pencils, I have set some that I use just lately . I use the Chanel kohl to shape the eye discreetly in my day to day with gentle pat on the top of the tabs forming a fine grate and in the bottom of the tabs (outside) to the middle of the eye. If I want to draw a little more attention I use the pencil from H & M that has glitter and is gorgeous. In my day to day soil also use a wide brush liquid eyeliner to elongate the line and make it thicker.

The new Sephora lilac shadows are lovely and they leave a lovely smoky effect, especially for green eyes. The black is applied as a kohl around the upper and lower lashes. After that the color purple is used in the eyelid by applying enough for that touch of color, and dark lilac blurring is applied from the upper eyelid to the fixed eyelid. To finish the silver shadow is applied on the lacrimal and under the eyebrow on the outside and brings a touch of incredible brightness. I also use a lot the Black Smoky Eyes by Sephora.

As for the green and blue shadows I use Sephora especially in summer as they bring color to the face and are great fun. I apply the blue like an eyeliner on the top of the tabs above and green in the same way in the bottom of the tabs above. You can do the same with the green gel eyeliner from Mac.

5. Rímel de pestañas y cejas.

El nuevo rímel de Benefit They're Real! es increíble. Yo, por suerte, tengo unas pestañas muy largas y no necesito rímel en mi día a día, pero cuando salgo a algún sitio o me apetece arreglarme un poco más este es perfecto. Al poco que me ponga rímel mis pestañas ya son inmensas y llegan hasta la ceja pero este es impresionante. Deja unas pestañas de infarto y profundamente negras. Lo recomiendo muchísimo. 

Por otro lado, el rímel de Yves Saint Laurent en lila me encanta. Cuando salgo es uno de los que más me pongo porque, además de dejar unas pestañas muy largas, el color lila aporta un toque sensual que destaca aún más el verde de mis ojos.

En cuanto a las cejas, uso el rímel de Benefit para cejas Gimme Brow que, además de peinar y fijar la forma de la ceja, les aporta un toque de color que las deja perfectas. Hay tres tonos y yo uso el del medio.

The new mascara from Benefit They're Real! is incredible. Luckily, I have very long eyelashes and I don't need mascara in my day to day, but when I go somewhere or I want to emphasize them this is perfect. As soon as I put this mascara my eyelashes grow immense and go up the eyebrow. Leave tabs of stroke and deep black. I highly recommend it.

On the other hand, the Yves Saint Laurent mascara in lilac is amazing. When I go out is one of the ones I get because, besides leaving very long eyelashes, the color purple adds a sensual touch that further highlights the green of my eyes.

As for the eyebrows, use the brow mascara Benefit Gimme Brow that, in addition to style and fix the shape of the eyebrow, it brings a touch of color and leaves them perfect. There are three shades and I use the medium.

6. Colorete.

Por lo que se refiere al colorete los nuevos blushes de Sephora son preciosos y lowcost. Yo los tengo en rosa y en coral. El rosa lo he usado bastante en verano y es muy llamativo, lo recomiendo si te gusta marcar bastante el colorete como a mí. Por otro lado, el color coral lo he comprado hace poco y me chifla. Deja un tono muy natural y muy bonito, y como tiene brillo deja la cara muy iluminada. Si te apetece que se note bastante, con aplicarlo dos veces consigues que destaque. 

En cuanto al blush de Nars Super Orgasm es un precioso tono rosa con bastante purpurina. Este no es muy llamativo y si quieres marcar mucho el colorete debes aplicar demasiado y no lo recomiendo pero es un tono precioso y discreto que si quieres puedes usar encima de otro colorete más marcado. La purpurina deja una piel muy iluminada y queda muy bonito.

As regards the new Sephora blushes are lovely and lowcost. I have them in pink and coral. I use the pink one in summer and is very striking, I recommend it if you like a lot of color like me. On the other hand, I bought recently the coral color and I love it. It leaves a very natural tone and very nice, and it leaves a very shiny and bright face. If you want it to be notice, apply it twice.

Regarding the Nars Super Orgasm blush is a lovely shade of pink with pretty glitter. This is not very striking and if you want the blush to be notice you should apply it too much times and I do not recommend it but it is a lovely and discreet tone and if you want you can use it on top of another blush more marked. The glitter leaves a bright and very nice skin.

7. Labios.

Aunque tengo un montón de pintalabios en un montón de colores, estos son los que más uso. Por un lado está el rosa chicle (nº09) de Sephora que lo aplico con el perfilador (nº04 candid candy) de la misma marca y deja unos labios jugosos y muy divertidos. Al ser mate se fija bastante, aunque no es de larga duración (por eso uso el fijador de Too Faced).

La barra de Nars Carthage es una de mis favoritas. Es un pintalabios rosa fucsia en mate que deja un color y unos labios preciosos y muy llamativos. Se trata de un color que uso mucho, sobretodo para fiestas, y también me dura bastante al ser mate aunque tampoco sea de larga duración.

Por otro lado, esta el pintalabios de Rimmel London de la colección de Kate Moss Lasting Finish by Kate en un tono rojo granatoso intenso (nº107). Esta barra me encanta cuando quiero destacar especialmente los labios. Su textura es muy agradable y al ser mate también dura bastante.

Por último os muestro el embellecedor de labios de Clarins Eclat Minute (nº01) que deja los labios super jugosos y brillantes. Se trata de un embellecedor con un tono rosa claro con brillos que aporta un acabado muy natural. Su textura en gloss no es pegajosa y deja unos labios preciosos y muy jugosos. 

Although I have a lot of lipstick in a lot of colors, these are the ones I use the most. On one side is bubblegum pink (no. 09) from Sephora that I apply it with the profiler (candid candy No. 04 ) of the same brand and leaves lips juicy and fun. As it is matte it lasts a lot although it is not long lasting (so I use the Too Faced fixer).

Nars Carthage bar is one of my favorites. It is a matte fuchsia pink lipstick that leaves a beautiful and very striking lip color an I use it a lot, especially for parties. It is also matte and it lasts a lot. 

On the other hand, it 's Rimmel London Kate Moss lipstick collection Lasting Finish by Kate in intense garnet red tone (no. 107). I love this bar when I want to emphasize especially the lips. Its texture is very nice.

Finally I show the lip trim Clarins Eclat Minute (no. 01) that leaves lips super-juicy and bright. This is a trim with light pink glitter that provides a very natural finish. Its texture in gloss is not sticky and leaves a beautiful and very juicy lips.

8. Polvos de Alta definición.

Para acabar con la sesión de maquillaje aplico los polvos de Make Up Forever HD High Definition Powder que hacen que el maquillaje se mezcle a la perfección, que tenga un acabado perfecto y también ayudan a fijarlo para una larga duración.

To finish I apply the Make Up Forever HD High Definition Powder that provides a perfect finish and also help to fix the makeup.

9. Pinceles.

Por último os enseño algunos de mis pinceles. De derecha a izquierda, el primero es para la raya de ojos de la marca Misslyn (en El Corte Inglés); el segundo es para difuminar las sombras y extenderlas y es de Sephora (nº23); el tercero es para aplicar sombras también pero es un poco más rígido y es de Deliplus; el cuarto es un pincel de Bourjois para sombras pero sobretodo para las del párpado móvil y es mucho más corto y rígido lo que permite que el color quede más intenso; el quinto es también de Bourjois y lo uso para el colorete; el sexto es un pincel de Primark que al no ser muy rígido me permite aplicar a la perfección el maquillaje en polvo de Clinique; el último pincel es de Sephora y es un pincel de colorete de viaje o para el bolso. 

El spray es un limpiador instantáneo de pinceles de secado rápido y antibacteriano que sirve sobretodo para cuando en una misma sesión de maquillaje necesitamos un mismo pincel para dos colores. Por otro lado, también va bien usarlo de vez en cuando para sacar las bacterias que se acumulan. De todas formas no debemos sustituirlo por la limpieza a fondo de los pinceles. Es "obligatorio" limpiar una vez al mes los pinceles dejándolos en remojo con agua tibia y un poquito de jabón. 

Finally I show you some of my brushes. From right to left, the first is for the line of sight from Misslyn (El Corte Inglés); the second one is to blur the shadows and extend them from Sephora (no. 23); the third one is to apply shadows too but is slightly stiffer and from Deliplus; the fourth one from BOURJOIS is for shadows but especially for the eyelid and is much shorter and more rigid for a more intense color; the fifth one is also from BOURJOIS and I use it for blush; the sixth one is a Primark brush and it's not very rigid and so it lets me apply the Clinique powder perfectly; the last brush is from Sephora and is a blusher brush for travel or handbag.

The spray is an instant brush cleaner, fast drying and antibacterial that I use it especially for when I need the same brush for two colors. On the other hand, it is well to use it from time to time to remove the bacteria that the brushes accumulate. Anyway we should not replace thorough cleaning brushes. It is "mandatory" once a month to clean the brushes leaving them to soak with warm water and a little soap.
